COVID 19 RESPONSE! Staff and Guest Safety, Food Preparation/Service and General Lodge Operation Changes



We ask guests who have tested positive for Covid within a week of their trip or showing symptoms of COVID 19 to cancel their reservation.

You will be able to enjoy your meal knowing that it is served fresh and following all CDC and Wyoming Health Department guidelines.  Seconds will always be available!

Breakfast will be served from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and dinner will be served from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.  If you are unable to make our dinner service hours, a plate will be made for you and placed in the guest refrigerator.  We also have a microwave available for guest use.

All lunches will be prepared fresh in the morning, labeled with each guest’s name, and placed in the guest refrigerator ready for pick-up.  Each lunch will consist of a deli sandwich (made to order), potato chips, and a granola bar.  The lodge will no longer serve lunches to order. Microwavable frozen food is available for purchase in our store.

The lodge staff has increased their daily hand washing and we ask our guests to do the same, particularly while sharing the common spaces.  



POLICIES

Rates and Policies are subject to change.

All rates are subject to 3% Forest Service Tax.

All rates are also subject to a 5% WY Sales Tax and 5% lodging tax.

A 20% deposit is due at booking and the remaining balance is due upon departure.

A 20% gratuity is automatically added to all reservations.

A Cleaning Fee will be added to ALL Reservations. $50 per Lodge Room and $65 per Cabin

WE DO NOT ACCEPT CASH or PERSONAL CHECKS.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover Only, NO CASH AS OF OCTOBER 2023

Children under one are free.

Check In time 4PM. Check out is 10am

Transportation into the lodge during with months is offered from Crystal Creek Rest area at $75 per trip. Please arrange ahead of time.

All units are non-smoking.  Smoking in any accommodations will result in a $500 fine.


Reservations

Rates are subject to change, and all rates are subject to a 3% forest service fee, 5% lodging tax and a 5% Wyoming state tax. A 20% deposit is due upon booking and the remaining balance is due upon departure. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover Only. The Lodge will be CASHLESS as of October 2023. Children under 1 are free.  Check-in time is at 4pm and check-out time is at 10am.

Gratuities

An 20% gratuity will automatically be added to all reservations.

Cleaning Fee

A Cleaning Fee of $50 per Lodge Room and $65 per cabin will be added to all reservations.

Pet Policy

Dogs are welcome in our cabins only. Dogs must not be left unattended either inside the cabin or out on the Lodge grounds. Dogs are not allowed on the beds. If above average cleaning is required due to dogs, an additional fee of $30.00 will be charged to the credit card on file. Notice of this charge will be sent by email to the guest.

Clothing and Personal Gear

If you plan on exploring our incredible mountain wilderness, make sure to come prepared with sunscreen, bug repellant, water, food, and enough clothing to keep you warm and dry. The weather can be unpredictable at 9,000 feet and hail storms are even a possibility in the summertime. We recommend layers of synthetic materials like fleece (not cotton) and under armor, and natural fibers like down and wool. A light waterproof jacket and beanie hat are also recommended. If you plan on participating in one of our ORV adventures, make sure to bring a warm jacket and gloves as well. While hiking in the backcountry, we also recommend carrying at least a map and compass, bear spray, and if possible, a GPS unit to help find your way home. Do not count on having cell phone reception throughout most of the areas surrounding Wyoming High Country Lodge.

Cancellation Policy

Your credit card will be charged a 20% deposit at the time of booking. If you need to cancel a reservation 6 months or more prior to your reservation date, a full refund will be issued minus a $10 processing fee.  Deposits are non-refundable if reservation is canceled within 6 months of your reservation date.

Private lodge Events/Bookings will be required to put down a non-refundable deposit of 50%

WHC is not responsible for the weather and/or snow conditions during your stay.  If, on the day of your scheduled arrival you cancel your reservation, you will be charged one night's stay for each member of your party, on top of your deposit.
